Matthew 28:18-19

Our Purpose
To multiply God’s Kingdom Agenda to replicate his Glory all over the World!
The Mission
The Kingdom Mission is to go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. God places us all in different places in order that he gets the Glory within that place. We are all given particular relationships in order that he gets the Glory within our relationships. We are to be bold wherever God places us so that we are positioned to plant the seed of his Word.
God is seeking to reconcile all people to him. The gift of Jesus Christ is how this happens and we as believers are to share The Good News.
Our Assignment
I used to work at a call center in El Paso. I’m one of those who must operate within a specific routine or it could potentially ruin my day. Part of that routine would be to incorporate listening to a sermon on my way to work.
Well one day as I was walking to the building, I was moved to pray in a way where I was asking God to use me at work. Within twenty feet from the door, the Lord asked me, “What would you do if you were the pastor of this church (my job)”?
That hit me like a ton of bricks. At that moment I realized, do my coworkers even know that I love Jesus? Have I expressed God’s love to them? Have I tried to tell them the good news? We are to boldly go into all nations preaching the good news however in order to reach nations we have to face God individually.
Don’t look forward, don’t look backward, evaluate where you are right now. Do your kids know the good news of Jesus Christ? Does your spouse know to not be ashamed of the Gospel? Does your spouse know the kingdom agenda and the role they play to get the mission done? Does anyone within your community know Jesus? Can people see Jesus in you at work or school? If someone was in need of help, would you offer food to eat? Would you offer clothes to wear or an extra room to stay in if they had nowhere to go?
What I am saying is God placed us exactly where we are meant to be. He could change our assignment at any time but until that day comes, work within the boundaries of the garden he’s placed you in.
I must admit this is kind of scary.
It comes down to our faith? The first thing I would do is communicate (prayer) with God. God loves to talk and he loves for us to approach him about anything. It helps in a great way to know what he already says about everything. At the end of the day, just talk to him. I tell people who pour their hearts out to me, “Have you told any of your issues to God?”
Our Father should be the first person we go to about everything. There is nothing wrong with going to God and saying, “Father, I’m scared. Can you help me?” Watch the love he shows us when we go to him and ask for help.
We are to be bold, never fearing the principalities of this world. Through faith, we are to take the message of the cross all over the world. God wants to influence us, our homes, and our communities. If we as a Christian body would believe in God with all we do, we would see a revival on a staggering level. Everything we do on Earth has an effect on Heaven. As followers of Christ, at The Great White Throne, we won’t be asked why we sinned. We will be asked what did we do with what he gave us. There is a penalty that occurs if we do nothing with our salvation. This is what the Bible calls narrowly escaping Hell. Jesus said through a parable that if we hide what he gives us, he will take everything away from us.
The world will do whatever it can to thwart God’s plan for our lives. The problem with the worldly view is that they neglect to realize nor acknowledge that Jesus is victorious! Therefore we who believe and have faith in our Lord have victory as well! Freedom rests in Jesus, not the world.
